Who doesn't love a good Valentine's Party? That hoot and holler spirit doesn't dissipate in 5th grade.
For my class, I took advantage of both a day-to-day math activity using a 100 Chart to "draw" while solving various math problems for review, and our real-time fraction world problem module to create highly engaging math activities for my students to do in addition to our regular lesson.
